1-on-1 with Teaching Young Women In Society Truth Executive Director
Pastor Angela Douglas is the Executive Director, Founder, President, and teacher/consultant. Her background includes being a consultant for the board of elections, teaching in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and other surrounding suburbs. She holds degrees in Music and Music History but more importantly her background in working with numerous non profits in the city of Cleveland has helped in the development and and running of Teaching Young Women In Society Truth. Pastor Angela continues to give to the youth, their families, and the community and wants
to reach 10,000 or more young ladies within the next 5 to 10 years and that hopes that they have either gone to college, gone to a vocational school, become an entrepreneur, or even start a family. Her main hope is that no matter what TYWIST's young ladies decide on for their future, that they are trauma free, healthy and whole as
women.

Thanks to the generosity of individuals and organizations in the Community, Teaching Young Women In Society Truth will soon start our educational workshops and fieldtrips to provide our youth an alternative to negative paths and behaviors.

From Idea to Reality: The Evolution of Teaching Young Women In Society Truth
We are passionate about helping our women become whole and successful. There has been an increase in crimes
against woman and a lot of domestic abuse that often goes unspoken. The children see the abuse and grow up and perpetuate the same cycles of abuse. TYWIST recognizes these social norms and wants to help to stop these cycles and generational curses that have inflicted themselves upon our society. We believe this is our great mission:Â to stop ALL ABUSE AND ITS OUTCOMES.
